The history of this apartment is indeed a peculiar one since it was built starting from a basement made of tuff and stones of the medieval castle of the town and it is literally carved in stone, crossing over eight centuries of Italian history. The second floor is composed by the living room made of exposed stone and with very high ceiling, a large comfortable fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a small studio, while the bathroom is located at the first floor. The whole apartment derives from three different units that have been joined over the years: the living room is part of a former noble residence made of exposed stone in order to remind its rich history, the kitchen was once a barn, as it can be seen from its windows, while the bedroom is a particularly romantic and comfortable environment, with a magnificent view over the rolling hills and the old centre. Crosswise a small studio made of exposed tuff where one can read, meditate and carry out leisure activities. The bath was craved in tuff as well, with a comfortable shower made of a rare type of Rapolano Terme travertine and the bathroom fixtures are also antique, like the marble sink and the cast iron bath tub. From here it is possible to go sightseeing and discover the famous art cities and the three most well-known wine-growing and producing territories around us: Montalcino, Montepulciano and the Chianti area.
